Why use The Satellite shop for your Sky Installation?

· We organise for the account to be setup with Sky for you with the minimum fuss.

· Our engineer will discuss the installation of all the equipment and explain how everything works.

· Unlike Sky Direct we take care of awkward installs, dishes on chimneys or at heights etc (at extra cost)

We offer deals for new and existing customers. What do you need?

New customers need a receiver & dish

A Sky + HD receiver is now the only receiver option available. You don’t have to subscribe to Sky HD channels and you don’t even need a HD screen although you will benefit from improved quality if you do. The receiver will be ready if you decide to upgrade in the future.

The Sky dish is standard although we do sell a discreet alternative to a dish called a Sqish (see Link).

More rooms ?

If you want to connect extra rooms independently then you will require subsequent Sky Multiroom subscriptions currently £10 per box without HD & £20 with HD channels (subject to terms)

Whats next?

· You decide what channel package you require & whether you require multiroom boxes.

· You fill in our online form here.

· We then open an account and order the viewing card(s) from Sky.

· Sky deliver the card to your address.

· We arrange a mutual day and time for installation.

Installation

We have to compete with Sky Direct so we offer 2 installation options.

Basic installation – We install the dish in the easiest position with the shortest cable run etc and give 1 year warranty, the same as Sky.

Premium installation – our engineer will discuss installation options and site the dish in the most discreet position available with longer cable runs to the receiver. We give 2 years parts and labout warranty with all premium installs.

SKY BROADBAND & SKY TALK

Sky broadband is available to over 70% of the UK population with more areas being connected daily.

You don’t have to be a Sky subscriber to receive Sky broadband although the package deals do offer superb value. You can switch from any other provider and if you take Sky Talk as well you can keep your existing telephone number.

For new customers who join Sky TV and take broadband at the same time, the broadband setup fee is included within the relevant installation/setup fee. Customers upgrading their Sky TV box and taking broadband at the same time will also be charged the set-up fees listed above.

Sky now offer new phone line connections with current monthly line rental charges of £11 per month. Sky can provide a new telephone number or you can transfer your current number although that might take longer to arrange.
