NEW Echostar HDS-600RS Freesat Receiver

With 500gb Hard Drive and Slingbox

Echostar have teamed up with Sling Media to produce the 1st HD Freesat receiver that enables to you stream TV to any PC, iPhone, Smart Phone or Mac via the internet.

The Echostar new HDS-600RS is a Freesat High Definition receiver with a built in 500gb hardrive and SplingPlayer capabilities as well. This clever addidtion means you can view pre-recorded or live content from the Echostar not only on your PC or lap top but on iPhones, iPads and other smart devices such as Android via the internet anywhere in the world.

SlingLoaded does this using your home internet connection, and it works on wi-fi and 3G internet connections. Although you will require a SlingPlayer mobile App which is sold seperately at around £18.

The Echostar HDS-600RS once connected to a Freesat dish will allow you to view Standard and High Definition Channels and the twin tuners will allow record one channel whilst watching another and the 500gb hard drive will give you around 300 hours of recording.

Connectivity is simplewith 2 F-Type satellite inputs, 2 Scart connections, HDMI out, optical digital audio, Ethernet and stereo phono audio outputs. The HDS-600RS all so has 2 USB ports as well although these are at the moment only for firmware upgrades.
