Humax TivuSat Receiver Fix

On Monday 23/01/2017 Humax performed an over the air software update the French TNT sat boxes. Owners of the Humax receivers HD5000 and HD5050 have reported that after the update the receivers have stopped working and TNT and Canal+ Channels are no longer working.

A message will be desplayed on screen saying

"Terminal configuration not accurate. Please contact your operator for further information." 

It is advised that if the receivers are let on either channels W9 or iTELE for at least 2 hours the receivers will reload the software and start working normally. In cases that this does not resolve the issue then customers are advised to wait for Humax to come up with a solution.

  1. REBOOT BOX FROM POWER (UNPLUG BOX FROM POWER / THEN PLUG BACK IN)
  2. FIND CHANNEL 2  - FRANCE 2 IN THE LIST
  3. LEAVE BOX ON FRANCE 2 AND DON'T CHANGE THE CHANNEL FOR 2-4 HOURS
